There are 3 main types of leasing, namely:Operating leasing is a type of lease in which the leased asset is included in the lessor's assets. It is obliged to make depreciation deductions. The lease instalments, together with the deductible, are tax-deductible for the lessee. All lease instalments are increased by VAT. In the case of operating leases, the lessee also has the right to buy back the leased property, but at the end of the leasing contract period. Financial leasing is a type of leasing in which the deductible for the customer is depreciation and the interest portion of the lease instalment. VAT is paid in full in advance together with the deductible, upon signing the leasing contract. In this type of leasing, the customer becomes the owner of the leased property after repayment of all liabilities and payment of a handling fee of PLN 100 net. Leaseback - This is a special type of lease. It involves the sale of a specific object by its current owner to a leasing company. This is followed by the conclusion of a lease agreement for this object. In this way, there is a change of ownership in legal terms - from the moment the sale contract is concluded, it is the lessor (purchaser). The most important thing is that despite the sale of the item, the lessee continues to use it (the owner in the economic sense does not change).
