CEIDG

CEIDG stands for 'Central Ewidencja i Informacja o Działalności Gospodarczej'. It is a Polish public register that contains data on entrepreneurs conducting business activity. The CEIDG system was introduced in 2011 and replaced the business activity registers previously maintained by municipalities. The register is maintained by the minister responsible for economic affairs. It allows entrepreneurs to register, change data and suspend or terminate their business activity online, which significantly facilitates and speeds up administrative processes related to running one's own business. CEIDG has an informative function. It makes data on entrepreneurs available. This includes the names and surnames of the owners, business addresses, NIP, REGON and information on the scope of business conducted. This information is publicly available on the CEIDG website, which supports the transparency and security of economic trading. CEIDG integrates its data with other public systems, which allows faster flow of information between different administrative bodies.
